Dear
Friend,
Are
you interested in keeping big bucks near your hunting stand?
I know I am...and I bet you are too.
If
so, then, your in the right place because I'm going to reveal
an easy-to-use tool that will help you do just that.
And...
I'm going to reveal how YOU can start using it right away, especially
if you are:
- A
rifle hunter or bow hunter that wants to keep a dominant
whitetail
buck in YOUR hunting area.
OR
- An outfitter trying
to assist your clients in harvesting a great trophy
whitetail deer. Why wouldn't you want to help bring the bucks
right to them. Better
business, right?
In
order to do this, you need to create a scenerio that will make your
deer think that there is another dominant buck invading their area.
I have found the secret tool that will do this and it's called the 4 in
1 Scrapemaker.
This Is How So Many
Hunters Have Harvested Nice Trophy Whitetails
And Now...
YOU Can Follow
These 4 Secret Methods To Harvest YOUR Trophy Buck!
By
utilizing the 4 in 1 Scrapemaker, you to can send the same message
dominant bucks send to does.
How you ask?
A real scrape consists of:
- an oval shaped pawed up area
directly under the licking limb
- a hoof print in the middle of the
scrape
- and an actual scent a deer leaves
behind when making the scrape.
The buck scrape is considered to be the most important part of the
whitetail breeding cycle. A buck will make a scrape to let other bucks
know that this is his territory, but the main purpose is to give the
female deer (doe) a chance to urinate in his scrape.
The doe leaves her scent in the scrape
and when the buck comes back to scrape he can smell a hot doe and pick
up her trail. It is important for a buck to find the doe while she is
capable of being bred during her 36 hour period of ovulation. This
makes it imperative for the buck to find the doe quickly.
Whitetails make scrapes all times of
the year as a way to mark their territory, but as the rut approaches
these scrapes become a hunters best friend.
Buck
rubs are another key ingredient of
a deer's life. Usually, a buck will find a tree from one to five inches
in diameter and rub his antler's on it until the bark comes off the
tree to mark his territory.
Bucks
make rubs in highly visible areas,
so that other deer may see them and know they are approaching another
buck's zone. Biologists have found that a buck is actually leaving his
forehead scent on the rub which helps him advertise his domain through
visual signs and distinct scent.
This is where the 4 in 1 Scrapemaker
comes into play. It is designed to do to be utilized in 4
different ways. Let me explain:

- The two-prong rake head (located at the top)
simulates
the splayed buck hoof as he makes a scrape and leaves proper lines in
the scrape.
- The jagged teeth feature (along the sides) is
used to
create a perfect licking limb.
- The specially designed straight
edge rips mock rubs one to five inches in diameter on smooth bark trees
(only).
- The massive buck print makes
your scrapes authentic by leaving the print of a massive dominant buck.
"The
Scrapemaker is the most important tool I carry when bow hunting...."

"Next
to my bow and arrows, the Scrapemaker is the most important tool I
carry when bow hunting. For over 30 years I have been making mock
scrapes and tagging bucks over them. Why did it take so long for
someone to come up with this? The Scrapemaker saves time
and builds a realistic scrape with half the effort. After
34 years of bow hunting I seldom get excited about new gear and
gadgets. The Scrapemaker is the first new innovative idea to get my
attention in years. It
is a "must have" item for every serious bow hunter." |
Now
let
me go into detail about each of these feature:
First:
The
Two-Prong
Rake Head
The two-prong rake head simulates a
buck's splayed hoof as he digs up the ground. Use the two-prong rake to
scrape up the surface of the soil.
Make an oval shaped scrape using the
licking limb as your guide. Keep the licking limb right in the middle
of the scrape. Make the scrape approximately 2 1/2 feet wide by 1 1/2
feet tall when scouting and when hunting early season.
Increase the size of your scrapes as
the rut approaches. A
scrape that is 4 feet wide by 3 feet tall is not
uncommon around the rut. It is important to remember that
trench-like
scrapes are very impressive to look at but unnecessary. You don't have
to go real deep, just make sure the ground is fluffed a couple of
inches deep.
When making your scrape, keep the
lines in the scrape going in one direction, from the top of the scrape
to the bottom. Very seldom will he make a scrape by circling all of the
way around the scrape. Once the scrape and licking limb are complete
add your scent accordingly (See scent directions).
Now you are ready for the icing on
the cake! The massive buck print!
Check out the two-prong rake
head in use below:

Second: Licking Limb Simulator
It all
starts with the licking limb.
The
licking limb is the common name given to the branch that a buck finds
and chews on before he makes his scrape.
Not just
any branch will work
for it must be at least
four to five feet off the ground and completely
set apart from any other branches.
Many
different trees can be used for licking limbs, from pines to oaks. The
type of tree is less important than the actual location. The dirt below
the licking limb needs to be fairly loose, so that the buck can make a
good scrape in a limited time.
A buck
will not choose a licking limb over deep weeds or anything that would
impede his ability to scrape the ground. The licking limb also has to
be highly visible to other deer; do not choose your licking limb in
deep cover, this would be ineffective.
Think
back to where you found scrapes over the years and use those sites
first. Last years scrapes will be this years enticements.
The
licking limb simulator is the jagged teeth portion of the Scrapemaker.
Use
the teeth to strip fourteen inches of bark off the licking limb.
Once you have done this, carefully bend the licking limb so that it is
pointing straight down at the scrape.
This is
the buck's way of saying, "Hey, look at my scrape!" After you have made
the perfect licking limb, spray a little of the limb/mock rub
attractant scent on the tip of the licking limb.
See
the photos below:
Preparing
the licking limb:

Licking
Limb With Scent Added
Third:
Mock
Rub MakerHead
Use
the specially designed straight edge to make mock rubs on
smooth bark trees one to five inches in diameter. Place
your mock rubs
in zones that bucks have rubbed in the past. The rub maker portion of
the Scrapemaker will rip smooth bark and leave the strips of
bark hanging off the tree just like a lifelike rub.
By
doing this you will be able to get the attention of other bucks and
perhaps keep them a little closer to your stand location.
This is
extremely effective for scouting purposes.
Just like mock scrapes, mock rubs can entice bucks to re-rub a tree or
make another rub close to the mock rub. Bucks do this to warn their
competition that a fight might break out if the two bucks meet. Mock
rubs work best in travel corridors between bedding sights and feed
zones.
You
should place a couple of good rubs on trees within ten yards of the
scrape sight. This is very effective in visually stimulating the buck
as he approaches the scrape site.
For many years hunters thought
that bucks rubbed trees only to get the velvet off of their antlers.
Although this is true, it is not the primary reason for rubs. We
have found that a buck, while making a visual cue to his competition,
is also leaving his forehead scent on the rub which also personalizes
his work.
Using the Scrapemaker Mock Rub
Feature:.

Mock
Rub With Scent Added:
Fourth: Lifelike
Buck Print
The
final scrape application is the most exciting: the massive buck print.
After a buck chooses his scrape site, chews the licking limb, and makes
his scrape, he then leaves his signature by pressing a single hoof
print in the scrape.
When a
buck presses his foot into the middle of the scrape he is leaving his
mark as an indicator to other bucks that this is HIS scrape.
It is also
his way of advertising to the doe that he is ready for her.
Nature
tells the doe she will have the best offspring if she can mate with the
dominate buck. She can shop for bucks by looking at the size of the
print in the scrape. If
she sees what is he is looking for she will
urinate in that scrape and the chase is on.
Another
key ingredient to leaving a lifelike print in the scrape is that it
will challenge the dominant buck in the area. Just like most animals,
there is a pecking order within the herd.
Dominant
bucks take leadership roles seriously and will attempt to find and ward
off any competition in their area. This helps in keeping big bucks in
your area.
Once
your scrape is complete, add Dominant Buck Scent to the print itself
and get ready for a buck frenzy!

"Using the Scrapemaker tool
and scents has definitely proven to be effective in all phases of the
deer hunting season...."

Using
the Scrapemaker tool and scents has definitely proven
to be effective in all phases of the deer hunting season.
In
early October we
used the tool and scents to place mock scrapes and rubs in key areas of
property we hunt. The result was more
buck sightings
and a dramatic
increase in
territorial sign by dominate
bucks from all around! This bow hunt took
place on
Dec. 23.
Although
this is a full month after the peak rut, post rutting was
still evident. We decided to set up a in a staging area just as a front
moved
through. I laid a secret trail of both Dominant Buck and
Fresh Hot Doe in
a runway that contained a fresh rub line on trees 12" in diameter. I
then
continued the scent rail around my tree stand to a primary scrape area
and
place a mock scrape next to a day old scrape. After about an hour a 2
1/2
year old 8 point came into the area investigated the scent trail I
laid, made a
rub and then bedded down wind of the mock scrape, showing approval and
interest
of the Scrapemaker scents.
Around
3:30 in afternoon after a series of grunts, the
dominant buck with a massive rack came in to check out the area.
He
followed the scent trail perfectly searching for the intruding buck. As
he
attempted to chase off a smaller buck, he offered me a clear
shot.
The
buck
went 75 yards and expired! With the help of the Scrapemaker
I
ended
my season
with a great Pope and Young buck.

What
are these scents?
Fresh Dominant Buck
Scent:
- Use this scent every time you put a
print in a scrape. The scent simulates a buck's odor as he urinates on
his leg; which then drips onto the scrape. This scent can attract
dominant bucks to your scrape lines. Be ready, it
drives them wild!
Fresh
Hot Doe Scent:
- This scent is to be used from two
weeks prior until two weeks following the rut. Add six sprays to all
scrapes during this time. This scent simulates a doe's urine when she
is in heat. This is a smell that all bucks have been waiting for all
year long. This scent is effective for keeping bucks close to the area.
Licking
Limb and Mock Rub Scent:
Fresh
Scrape Conditioner:
- This
scent is to be applied on all of your mock scrapes any time of the

Now to the next
important bonus...
Bonus #2: Multiple Uses For the Tool
Here are some other useful ways you can use the scrapemaker
Scouting
Tool:
- Never
before has a hunter had such an effective way to scout during the
season. Many hunters do not realize that a buck will make a territorial
scrape any time of the year. Using the Scrapemaker for scouting, will
give a hunter the chance to find the dominant buck in their
area.
- Simply
take your property and divide it into sections of 5-20 acres (depending
on how many gross acres you plan to scout). By using a topo map or
aerial photo, locate your top scrape and rub zones.
- Three
weeks prior to the season, go into each section of your
property and make a scrape line and mock rub line; use your scents
accordingly.
- Leave
the property alone for two weeks, then go back to each scrape and rub
line. Chances are you will find where the big buck spotted to
investigate your lifelike mock scrape or rub. Big bucks don't like
competition and will sometimes scratch out the mock hoof print and
leave their own hoof print
in the scrape. Then they will either rub over the top of an existing
rub or create a new rub on a tree next to
your mock rub. These warnings he leaves for other bucks will be your
calling card.
- Find
the hot scrape action, hang your stand, freshen the hot scrape again,
and you're ready for the opener.
- It
is important that you take scent control seriously when scouting. You
should scout midday just after a rain. Also, have a game plan and like
to go into the woods as quickly and efficiently as possible. Our goal
is to locate and harvest the dominant buck in the area. Scout smart and
reap the rewards during the season.
Conditioning Bucks To Stay In
Your
Area:
- If you don't have
the
luxury of a large hunting area, the Scrapemaker can help lure and hold
bucks to your small tract of land. Some of the best hunting around can
be found on a small, often-overlooked piece of property.
- Large, wiley
bucks seem
to feel comfortable making their core zones in these small areas. The
Scrapemaker will help pull that large buck out of his
comfortable bed and bring him to your spot.
- A big dominant
buck has
to defend his core area to remain at the top of the pecking order.
Don't be discouraged if your property is small. Use the Scrapemaker to
maximize your ability to lure and hold bucks on YOUR property.
- By starting early
with
scrape lines and rub lines you will condition the bucks in the area to
hit those scrapes, especially as the rut approaches.
- Conditioning
bucks with
scrapes can be more effective than using bait piles, and a whole lot
less work and money.
Visual
Stimulation - Get Does to Urinate In Your Scrape:
- Entice
Does To Your Scrape:
- If
you have ever been lucky enough to hunt over a hot scrape, you know how
active that site can be. By using the Scrapemaker properly, you can
actually get does to urinate into mock scrapes.
- The
smell of that doe in the scrape is irresistible to the dominant buck in
the area. the authentic licking limb, and the realistic scrape with a
large print, encourages those does to use the scrapes.
- When
that happens, get ready! The bucks will be close behind.
Stop
The Buck Where You Want::
- Most
everyone agrees that your best shot on a deer is when he is not moving.
Up until now hunters relied on grunt calls to stop a moving buck. A
grunt call works great in most cases, however you have to draw your bow
and grunt at the same time.
- With
the Scrapemaker, you can get a big buck to stop wherever you put your
mock scrape. A deer will seldom walk by a scrape and not stop to
investigate. This is crucial for bow hunters.
- With
the Scrapemaker, a hunter cannot only get a deer to stop, but he can
have him stop where he would like.
- Make
sure that you put your scrape in a clear shooting lane. "Murphy's law"
says if you don't clear a couple of shooting lanes, you will hit a
branch when you shoot a buck of a lifetime.
- Use
the Scrapemaker to stop big bucks where you want the shot.

"I
started using it in pre-season where I made mock rubs in a number of
different spots where I hunt using the licking limb and mock rub scents..."
"Without
a doubt the 4 in 1 Scrapemaker kit put this bruiser in front of me
during the rut on 11-7-06 in Wisconsin. I started
using it in pre-season where I made mock rubs in a number of different
spots where I hunt using the licking limb and mock rub scents. Then a
few weeks into the season I made six mock scrapes leading into
my tree stands and adding the proper scents to that.
I stayed away from the area where I noticed what I believe to be the
tracks of this 11 pointer I waited for the rut and
the prefect wind. I was in my stand after freshening up the
scrape hopefully for the last time this season. I
was in my stand looking and concentrating on the trail leading up to
the mock scrape. " I called it " Here he
comes with his nose on the ground heading straight to the scrape. He
walks up to it stops then he puffs up and starts posturing.
He starts ripping up the mock scrape and urinates in it. He was then
thrashing his antlers around the limbs where I applied the scent.
And he turns then walks 23 yard broadside I grunted him to stop.... And
well you know the rest just look at the picture. Thank you
Whitetail Innovators for making the 4 in 1 Scrapemaker kit. If it
wasn't for you I wouldn't have had the awesome season I did."

"The
Scrapemaker - Top 10 New Products from ATA 2007"

"Scrape Innovators is offering a new
Scrape Making System. This new system will take your mock scrapes to
the next level. They are offering a new line of synthetic scents that
are made completely from synthetic materials.
The advantage of synthetic lures over
real urine is they last forever. They never spoil, break down, or get
old. Scrape Innovators Scents are always mild so you will never have to
worry about your lure scaring off that buck of a lifetime. They also
offer a 4-in-1 scrapemaker tool designed to help you make better mock
scrapes and rubs.
The tool has a fork that rips up dirt,
grass, or clay with ease. The fork resembles a hoof of a deer so the
scrape looks real. The tool has a jagged edge for making licking
branches and a rough edge for making fake rubs on trees.
To top it all off, once your scrape is
made the tool has a buck print that can be pushed into the dirt to make
it look like a real buck has been there.
According to testing done by the
manufacturer, scrapes with the imprint receive far more activity from
real bucks and doe’s than those that don’t have the buck track imprint."

one mock scrape 20 yards from my tree stand and three mock rubs 20 to

was a fresh scrape right next to mine and three more between that and
the last mock rub. I have hunted
this stand for a few years, but have had more buck activity than ever,
including this nice 7 point, shot on 11/2. About a week

broke from my right and led him away. They went out about 75
