Archery Season is Coming - Time to Shoot the Bow

I was out today shooting my bow. I have been doing pretty good lately. I seem to hitting my deer target right on at 15 yards. I am alittle low at 20 yards but I have moved the pin and now I am hitting right on target. I am excited about this coming archery season as I have been seeing some rather nice bucks in my hunting area. You can see from the photos that I have a nice double drop tine buck that has been in the area every 5 days or so. I can't wait to get more pictures of him and the other bucks that are moving right past my ladder stand.

Can't wait...If you are an avid bow hunter than you need to be shooting your bow. Practice getting up from a sitting position and then shooting. Also practice with all of your clothes on that you wear archery hunting. Sometimes, this seems like a bother but this is how you are dressed when you hunt. You want to make sure that nothing will get in the way of you making that draw, if there is something, you can adjust it now before that trophy whitetail enters your area and you miss that chance of a lifetime buck because of a simple thing that could have been prevented.

Well, I'll keep you posted as to the pictures. The food plot is going good. It is greowing even though we are in a small drought situation here in PA. I also planted an apple tree out there to attract the deer so I hope it makes it and continues to grow.
